FIVE women's groups selected to benefit from part of the book proceeds

In keeping with the spirit of this women’s anthology, Sugati Publications has committed a portion of the proceeds from "When One Door Closes" to FIVE non-profit women’s  agencies that assist women and girls on global, national and local fronts.  The profits donated in 2011 were as follows:

1.  One international organization to receive 10% 

2.  One national organization to receive 10%

3.  Three local, non-profit agencies to receive 5% EACH for a total of 15% of the proceeds.

Each of the agencies that were nominated are worthy of great praise and consideration for the important work that they do to make women's and girls' lives better.   If it was possible to award each group, we would do so!  All  five of the recipients are acknowledged in the book along with their website.  We hope this will spread the word about their good work and increase donations to these deserving agencies. Thank you again to all who nominated charities and participated in this process.
